Polytechnic Secondary Vocational School (SOŠp) is an organizational component of the Juraj Henisch United School ¹⁾ with more than 45 years of tradition. It is a school with a technical focus, workplaces in practical teaching workshops. ²⁾

The school is structurally, spatially and materially equipped in such a way that it fully enables education in the field of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and construction. During their studies, students are guaranteed paid professional practice in companies with the possibility of employment immediately after graduation.

4-year study fields with high school diploma

Documents of acquired qualifications for 4-year majors:

Training certificate – serves to demonstrate professional competence when setting up a business.
Certificate of matriculation examination.
Addendum to the matriculation examination certificate.
In the electrical engineering fields, by taking the professional competence test, our graduate will receive a Certificate of professional competence to perform activities on technical electrical equipment according to § 21 of the Decree of the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Family of the Slovak Republic no. 508/2009 Coll.
Welding license at our own welding school with the option of choosing:

3-year courses with teaching certificate

Documents of acquired qualifications for 3-year majors:

Training certificate – serves to demonstrate professional competence when setting up a business.
Certificate of final examination.

In electrical engineering fields Certificate of professional competence to the extent limited to the performance of work on technical electrical equipment up to 1000 V, object class A according to § 21 par. 2 Decree of the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Family of the Slovak Republic No. 508/2009 Coll.

Welding license at our own welding school with the option of choosing.

2-year additional full-time matriculation studies

For graduates of 3-year courses, we offer a two-year additional full-time matriculation study in connection with the teaching certificate in the courses:

transport operation (3757 L) – aimed at performing activities in the management, control and logistics of the company
construction (3659 L) – focus on the performance and management of the production process in the construction industry

2-year external post-secondary studies

Post-secondary studies is intended for graduates of study fields with a high school diploma who have already obtained a complete secondary vocational education or a complete secondary general education.
